The Straw Fest is organised with the help of enthusiastic voluntaries and friends in a very relaxed atmosphere. The Straw Fest is to be fun for organisers, as well as for visitors and we hope it is. Perhaps that is why the Straw Fest survived, as there were some years without grants. Our thanks go to all friends, who contributed to sustain the Straw Fest.

The Company for salvage the Červená Řečice heritage

Robert Beneš (Robin) and Alena Benešová (Alča), Barbora Benešová (Bára), Anička Benešová, Václav Beneš (Váša)

When in need to make ecological, poetical and folding toilets, supply electricity, screw something, drill something or repair whatever, get Robin. His wife Alena controls the accounts of the Straw Fest, she is very patient. Their daughters Barbora, Anička and the son Vašík (in the box with the two ladies) are already full-fledged members of the organising team. Their daughter Anežka is too small.

Jirka Jedlička (Jedla) a Markéta Vráblíková Jedličková

When it is necessary to make an non-leaking laminate bath, a billboard, ensure publicity, apply for a grant, write a letter to a ministry, call for Jedla. His wife Markéta supervises the accounts of the Straw Fest and she still remains patient. Their daughter Magdaléna has already “strawed” in the Fest, son Matyáš hasn’t yet.

Vladimír Vlček (Vlčák), Adam Vlček, Tereza Vlčková, Matěj Vlček

If confused, call for Vlčák (the man on the photo on the left). He procures, secures and provides practically whatever, just remind him from time to time. His wife is very tolerant. Their daughter Tereza, their sons Adam (with the dog) and Matěj (on the picture on the right) are always in the frontline, wherever they are sent by the head of the family.

Jan Vandrovec (Honzík) a Milan Cipra

Diligent, industrious, you can rely on them.

Jirka Jandovský (Janďas)

You can’t find so much lovely music for working, dancing and listening anywhere else. Jiří has set a high standard, so even our French friends were surprised that we were “in”, selecting the right kind of music.

Jana Krejčová, Lucka Krejčová, Radek Přidal

A unique reinforcement of the last years, mum Jana with daughter Lucka and daddy Radek.

Pavel Jedlička, Anička Jedličková

When it is necessary to produce a poster or an invitation card professionally, you come to the right persons. Anička is the oldest baby on the Straw Fest photos, so at present a young lady. The son Oliver hasn’t “strawed” yet.

Václav Beneš junior, Dana Benešová (Danča)

A prebendal chief of kiosk at the Fest, with a Crocodile Dundee hat (without the hat on the picture, yet with strange women), you can rely on him. His wife Dana is patient. Their son Marek is still small.

Recognition sign: keeps smiling, with her dog Ema. She runs media campaigns and still keeps smiling.

If you need to start a nonconforming festival in a professional manner (websites, bands, organization, accounts), call for Zorák and Vlaďka. Their daughter Rozárka and dog Fida have already “strawed”.

Adam Skočdopole a Kateřina (Kačka) Mužíková Skočdopolová

Climbing performance, shopping of all kinds and a kiosk with very human approach is provided by Adam (the man with the cap) and his Liberec team. His wife Kateřina provides support for Adam and their daughter Magdaléna, who has “strawed”. Dachshund Eliška has already “strawed” as well.

Karel Pasník (Zip) a jeho psice Marta

From the first year in the frontline, no more comments... Zip and Great Dane Marta truly belong to the Řečice castle.

Hanka Rudolfová (Rudla)

Organiser and member of the ŠVAGR leadership. Don’t try to seek her in a corner.

Reliable, diligent, wherever you need her.

Jana Veselá (Veselka)

Her name, which means “jolly”, goes well with her nature and that is fine. What’s more, she is diligent and reliable.
